Fixed – Non-openable wooden scandinavian window

Top hung – This is a simple bottom-up window, usually fitted with a closing loop or handle.

Top sliding – This type of folding is particularly popular. This folding technique ensures maximum air flow into the zone. Usually supplied with a closing loop or handle.

Top swing – folded 180 degrees. A unique form of folding where the window can be fully opened by pulling it upwards from the bottom.

Side swing – It is particularly popular in multi-storey houses. This type of window is used in areas where it is not possible to install a tilt and turn window due to oversize norms.

Side sliding – One of the most modern types of sash, which is a perfect solution to the problem of cleaning windows.

Side opening – This is a traditional type of side-hung window.

Window hardware

The wooden frames of this type of window are proportionally thinner than of European windows. This gives the window a visual slenderness and elegance. The choice of window hardware and locks is also quite wide.

Material

Our windows are made from high-quality glued laminated timber. The most advanced technologies are used to maintain the best qualities of the timber and to create optimal preparation and storage conditions. Prepared timber is stored in dry, well-ventilated rooms where the humidity level in the air is constantly controlled.

Exterior coating

We paint the outside of the windows with a durable paint in the colour of your choice, or we can forge them with aluminium.

A modern outward opening timber window recognised in Scandinavia.

These modern outward opening timber windows are very popular in Northern Europe. Unlike European windows, they open outwards, which means that in windy weather they are pressed even more tightly against the frame, thus increasing their tightness.

Outward opening windows are a typical system used almost everywhere in Scandinavia. SCANDILINE 82 windows are mainly aimed at the Danish, Swedish and Norwegian markets, but are also increasing at the German and Dutch markets

Our windows are fitted with Danish PN UNI hardware. Thanks to the extensive use of top-quality components, SCANDILINE 82 windows save energy and reduce the noise level.

And because we also use a “warm” glazing, the windows in this line have a thermal resistance of 0,85 W/m²·K. In addition, the warm glass glazing effectively reduces heat loss and glass dew.

Additional sash seals also improve the water and wind tightness of this type of window, and to maintain the durability of your windows, we can also wrap it with aluminium.

For more demanding customers, aluminium hardware can be coated with an imitation wood texture or painted in all RAL colours. Aluminium hardware also improves the durability of wooden windows.
